The Quinn Downes Installation team have achieved PC following completion of the full Mechanical Services Installation for the new Dublin Aerospace state-of-the-art Landing Gear Facility in Ashbourne. The €12 million development, supported by the Government through its agency Enterprise Ireland and Dublin Aerospace shareholders, is set to double its number of employees in this Division from 75 to 150 over the next two years.

The project comprised specialist air handling unit ventilation and process extract systems to serve the Chrome Shop & General Plating Workshops including water and waste services. A full heating system installation was completed including workshop radiant tube heaters and unit heaters, emergency drench shower, gas detection systems, compressed air system, fire hose reel system, fire extinguishers, site fire mains pump house and full Building Energy Management System.
